| 在八月尾教育局宣佈分階段復課，小一、小五、小六於九月二十三日（三）復課，小二、小三、小四於九月二十九日（二）復課，全校教職員都忙着為開學日的來臨，作最好的準備。在防疫方面，學校找來消毒公司，為每一個課室進行全面消毒，確保同學在清潔、安全的環境下學習。另外，學校更在每一位同學的桌子上安裝防飛沫擋板，以阻隔飛沫。希望家長對學校的衞生有信心及滿意我們為小朋友所準備的一切。 |

In late August, the Education Bureau announced that classes will resume in phases. P.1, P.5 and P.6 resumed classes on 23/9 (Wed) whereas P.2, P.3 and P.4 resumed classes on 29/9 (Tue). All staff were busily ensuring the best preparation is in place for the first day of school. In terms of epidemic prevention measures, the school hired specialist disinfection services to carry out comprehensive disinfection for each classroom. Students will be learning in a safe and clean environment. In addition, the school installed anti-droplet safety desk shields to protect students from droplets. We hope parents are confident and satisfied with all that we have prepared for our students.

九月十四日（一）早上，我前往世界龍岡學校朱瑞蘭中英文幼稚園，為今年幼稚園的家長講解升小策略，講座題目為「因材選校啟潛能」，向他們講解選校方法、填寫表格的須知，當中亦介紹了我們學校的特點。家長們都投入回答我們的提問，亦主動發問，氣氛熱烈、積極。 | |||||||||
In the morning of 14/9 (Mon), I went to Lung Kong World Federation School Chu Sui Lan Anglo-Chinese Kindergarten to give a seminar to parents about strategies for Primary One Admission. The seminar topic was “Choosing a School According to Strengths: Unlocking Potential”. I explained the way to choose Primary Schools and must-knows of form-filling. I have also introduced the highlights of our school. Parents actively participated in our Q&A sessions; the atmosphere was friendly and enthusiastic.

九月十二日（六）及十九日（六）學校舉行了兩天的開放日，由於疫情關係無法如以往一樣舉辦大型的開放日，故本年度的開放日以網上預約形式進行，減少人群聚集的風險，反應不俗。除舉行開放日外，我們在九月二十四日（四）晚上7:00舉行網上家長會，好讓家長了解我們的發展。當晚有不少家長參加網上學校簡介會，家長先聽校長講解，之後大家也有互動時間，希望透過簡介會讓區內的家長多了解我們的學校。為了配合學校推廣，我們製作了Facebook及YouTube的「學校概覽」及相關短片，歡迎前往欣賞按「讚」、支持。 | |||||||||
Our school held two open days on 12/9 (Sat) and 19/9 (Sat). Due to the coronavirus, we could not hold a grand Open Day like before, that’s why this year we had online booking to reduce the risk of crowd gathering. The response we received was great! Apart from holding our Open Day, we also held an online Parents’ Evening on 24/9 (Thu) at 7pm to update parents on our developments. Many parents joined our online School Introduction session. First, parents listened to the Principal’s talk and then there was interaction time for parents in our district to learn more about our school. To act in concert with the promotion of our school, we created and uploaded an “About the School” clip and related videos on Facebook and YouTube. We welcome you all to watch and “like” them to show support!

九月二十三日（三）復課日終於到來，各人迎着開心的心情回校，特別是一年級同學，他們又驚又喜。今年沒有人哭着回校，回到學校就自己背着書包進入校園。而五、六年級的同學也高大及成熟不少。今年我們特別為大家在校門旁準備了一個拍攝小背景，方便你們與家人拍攝留念。 | |||||||||
Classes resumed on 23/9 (Wed)! Everyone positively and cheerfully came back to school. Our P.1 students were especially surprised. Nobody cried when they came to school; our students carried their own schoolbags responsibly. P.5 and P.6 students are much taller and very mature. This year, we have a new photo area with nice backgrounds for you to take memorable photographs with your family.

九月二十四日（四）下午的工作差不多完成了。校長室門外突然傳來敲門聲，原本是一位畢業生及他的媽媽到校探望，他們更對老師表示謝意，教育最珍貴的就是看到學生成長，而且越來越成熟去為自己及家人努力，大感動！ | |||||||||
In the evening of 24/9 (Thu), the day’s work was almost complete. Suddenly, there was knocking on the Principal Office’s door. It was so good to see a recent graduate and his mother visiting the school. They showed their appreciation to the teachers. The most precious thing about education is to see students grow and become mature and diligent. I was so touched!

今年的九月，校長正修讀博士學位課程。與同學一樣需要開學，亦以網上學習形式上課，現已經完成了一次的測驗及學術分享，另外我還需要每星期花三晚上課呢！雖然辛苦，但也是值得的。因為我希望運用我所學到的知識去協助學校作多方面發展，我會努力，同學們新一年也要加油啊！ | |||||||||
This September, the Principal has started studying his doctorate degree. I started school just like our students; furthermore, it was also being conducted online. I have already completed an exam and academic sharing. Additionally, I also need to attend evening classes three times per week! Although it’s tough, it’s worth it because I hope to apply the knowledge to support the development of the school. I will do my best! Students, you need to do your best too! | |||||||||
